I have been in sales for nearly 20 years, and have been recruiting within the Project Planning world for 6 years. I have placed all types of candidates from Juniors to Heads of Planning, within different sectors including construction, civils, nuclear and rail.
The best way to be successful in recruitment is by building a trusted network of both candidates and clients, and I would say that my approach is always professional, short, sweet and to the point. This way both clients and candidates get all the right information when needed and we can understand each other from the off.
The most motivating part of my job for me, is being involved in some of the UK’s most iconic projects, and when I walk or drive past these multi million pound schemes I feel a sense of pride that I have been involved in them coming out of the ground.

We have a real solid team mentality in this business, and people are willing to share information, which is quite rare in recruitment businesses. Everyone is approachable from the accounts assistants all the way up to the 2 owners, and they are always open to listening about ideas.
