Asset Management

A brilliant Investment Manager with assets within the UK and Germany, are in search of an Asset Manager to support the Managing Director for all UK activity across the UK portfolio, coordinating with the parent company Board and Fund Management Team in Germany.

Main skills and responsibilities include:

§ Value add asset management of all commercial real estate (international) with a focus on office and retail properties

§ Selection and management of service providers - in particular commercial and technical property management at home and abroad as well as the establishment and maintenance of a corresponding network

§ Control of the leasing processes - active involvement in lease negotiations

§ Active support for large tenants

§ Development and implementation of sustainable property strategies

§ Assumption of the building owner function for expansion and modernisation measures

§ Continuous identification of cost drivers and yield-reducing factors as well as development and implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions

§ Ongoing valuation of properties (DCF), yield and profitability calculations, reconciliation of forecast and budget planning

§ Preparation of budgets and business plans, reporting and controlling for the assigned portfolio

Requirements:

§ Completed studies in business administration and/or commercial training with additional real estate qualification (e.g. real estate economist)

§ Several years of professional experience in the real estate industry; ideally complemented by relevant knowledge in asset management for European portfolio properties

§ Very good MS Office skills (especially Word and Excel)

§ Willingness to travel

§ Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English, preferably supplemented by another foreign language
