Assistant Building Manager

Cobalt has partnered up with a well-established Managing Agent who is looking to add to their Facilities Management function in Watford.

The role will be assisting with the management of a state-of-the-art commercial office building in the heart of Watford which will certainly act as a talisman for the community.

Being a new-build, the successful candidate will have prior experience within a similar position and boast previous snagging or mobilation experience.

Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage onsite contractors and ensure works are carried out in line with company standards and legislation.

  • Conduct building inspections whilst instructing contractors to conduct remedial works where necessary.

  • Checking in with tenants on a regular basis to ensure their queries are met accordingly.

  • Work alongside the Property Manager to set and manage service charge budgets.

  • Overseeing health and safety compliance across the site at all times.

  • Drive proactive feedback from the site between leaseholders/tenants to ensure an up-to-date record is held at all times.

This position will see you take your facilities management experience to the next level whilst working for a household name agent with tremendous progression opportunities.

An IOSH qualification is necessary for this role.
