We have a great opportunity for a talented Associate Director or Planning Director to assist in the continued growth of this leading planning and development consultancy with a focus on providing advice to major clients (particularly housebuilders, retailers and developers).

You will be providing advice to some of the UK's best companies on some of the most exciting and challenging projects. In return, you will work in a culture that is dynamic and highly innovative.

Responsibilities:

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career.  Reporting to a Senior Director, you will be working on a number of projects and must have a very high level of technical competence and demonstrate the ability to manage your own time and workload.

You will be expected to have a good standard of written and spoken English, with good analytical and interpersonal skills and will normally undertake the following areas of work:

  • site appraisals;

  • planning strategies;

  • planning applications and appeals

  • development plan representations; and

  • providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process.

Qualifications:

You are likely to have around 6 or more years’ experience and have recently taken a key role on medium/large scale planning applications, for a variety of schemes. Experience in promoting strategic allocations and large-scale development and regeneration schemes would be beneficial.

You will be commercially minded, have market credibility and show a proven ability to win new work and clients and nurture existing client relationships to win repeat business.

Minimum requirements are:

  • At least 2.1 at first degree level

  • RTPI accredited town planning qualification. (A RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) would also be acceptable). This will be at Masters level.
