Associate Director / Director - Planning
Salary dependent on experience
We are working with our client in Birmingham to further strengthen their planning team with the addition of an experienced Planner that can take on a leadership role within the office. The team have a fantastic reputation and bring forward a fantastic array of projects across the region.
The AD/Director will have an integral role in the delivery of planning success for a varied client base that includes house builders, retailers, private individuals, public sector organisations and developers. Tasked with leading on projects predominantly across the residential and commercial sectors you will submit planning applications, handle appeals, manage and mentor junior members of the team and be proactive in maintaining strong client relationships whilst beginning to develop new business or having an established client base already in place if you are operating as a Director.

The ideal Planner will be able to demonstrate their experience of handling projects on behalf of a varied client base as well as being able to generate new business opportunities. Your responsibilities include the management of junior team members and therefore previous experience of this shall be highly beneficial whilst you can also demonstrate you possess excellent communication skills. Chartered membership of the RTPI is also essential and an extensive track record within the private sector is required.
