Building Manager

Cobalt Recruitment is looking for an ambitious Building Manager to take charge of an 80,000 sq ft commercial development for a global real estate business that is one of the fastest-growing property companies in the UK. This multi-let office building is at the heart of a commercial regeneration of the local area, with bustling amenities nearby, and excellent transport links by bus, car, and train. Having established themselves as one of the top 10 property businesses in the UK market, our client is looking to invest heavily in it's FM provision, and as such is looking for FM professionals who are keen to further develop their career over the coming years.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting regular site inspections;

• Building and sustaining professional relationships with key stakeholders including the client, tenants, and suppliers;

• Managing the work of outsourced suppliers;

• Ensuring the effective maintenance of the building fabric and plant;

• Setting and managing service charge budgets;

• Ensuring full health and safety compliance throughout the building.

This role would suit either an Assistant Facilities/Building Manager looking to step up, or a Building Manager looking to get their foothold in a company that can continue to develop them to become a top-tier FM professional. Our client is looking for someone with experience of FM within a commercial office environment, in addition to an IOSH qualification.
