Cobalt is working with one of the UK's most well-regarded managing agents, as they seek a manager for a modern building with an Excellent BREEAM rating nestled in the heart of Soho.
Benefiting from the soon-to-be-opened Elizabeth line, the building location combines a vibrant social scene with excellent transport links, giving you a great work-life balance alongside the platform to progress your career within a market-leading business. In addition to the main building, this role will involve management of a satellite site within a 10 minute walk of your main building, giving you management of a combined space of c 160,000 sq ft of quality multi-let office space.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:
Providing a first-class total facilities management service throughout the building;
Building lasting relationships with tenants, creating a real customer service experience and helping to drive forward their wellbeing within the workplace;
Ensuring the building remains compliant with UK health & safety legislation;
Setting and managing service charge budgets;
Managing the work of contractors for security, cleaning, front of house, and M&E;
Overseeing a comprehensive maintenance programme for the building, managing both planned and reactive works to plant and fabric within the building, in addition to overseeing projects from time to time (plant upgrades, fit-outs etc)
Our client is looking for a modern Building Manager, who can combine quality management of the physical asset with a focus on driving forward sustainability, customer experience, and wellbeing within the building. An IOSH qualification is essential, as is prior experience managing a multi-let commercial property.
