Building Manager

Cobalt have been instructed on a Building Manager position on behalf of a leading real estate company across the UK.

The role will be a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

In this position you will hit the ground running managing two buildings of circa 85,000 sq. f and 25,000 sq. f, The building are multi-tenanted commercial spaces. You will have autonomy over the buildings while also managing a small team.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Management of both soft and hard FM services

• Preparation of service charge budgets along with quarterly reconciliations

• Being a direct line report to soft and hard FM staff

• Ensuring the building remains compliant with UK Health & Safety legislation, whilst continuing to promote sustainability throughout the building

Requirements for this role;

• Being IOSH or NEBOSH accredited

• Have experience managing a multi-tenanted commercial building

• Have proven experience of setting and managing a service charge budget

As a successful applicant, you will display a strong track record in managing commercial offices as well as a proactive attitude when it comes to driving forward the wellbeing and overall experience of tenants within the building. You will support your tangible experience with an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
