Building Manager

Cobalt is working with a very well-known and established global brand on a Building Manager position in Edinburgh, where the successful applicant will manage a multi-tenanted commercial office building in the City.

This is an opportunity to work for an illustrious client and develop your experience managing a high-end asset where internal growth within this company is paramount.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Liaison with the visitors, tenants, and their staff as required in all matters relating to the efficient running of the building.

• Procurement and tenders of all new contracts for both soft and hard FM services.

• Ensuring the buildings are compliant with the UK Health & Safety legislation, whilst ensuring the buildings comply with ISO 14001 quality assurance.

• Preparation of service charge budgets along with quarterly variance reporting and end-of-year reconciliations

Requirements for the role:

• Be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.

• A good understanding of the current H&S regulations and ISO 14001

• Experience in setting and managing service charge budgets.

• Experience in managing commercial multi-tenanted buildings.
