Building Project Manager

Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in Buckinghamshire to source an interim Building Project Manager on an initial 6-12 month contract, paying £190 - £210 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company) depending on experience.

The Trust has a challenging capital programme with £37m worth of schemes that need delivering and are seeking a keen and motivated Building Project Manager who can come in and take on some of these projects, moving through to completion. The successful candidate will need to have good project delivery experience and the willingness to make a difference to achieve in taking on these refurbishment and upgrade projects to various parts of the Trust's estate and will provide crucial support to the Capital Projects team during this time.

You will have/be able to:

• A degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in Building and Construction.
• Experience within a NHS healthcare environment (desired).
• Demonstrable experience of liaising with contractors.
• Demonstrable experience of having managed multiple building upgrades or refurbishment projects.
• Significant experience in planning and delivery of capital programmes.
• A strong track record in managing schemes to time and budget.
• A proven ability to come up with flexible and creative solutions to difficult problems.
• Effective communication skills to deal with key stakeholders and NHS staff across the Trust.
