They specialize in managing residential properties to the highest standards, offering comprehensive services to property owners and residents alike. As a leader in the industry, they are expanding their team and seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to contribute to their continued success.
They are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and possess the technical expertise to oversee building surveys, inspections, and maintenance projects within their residential property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed building surveys and inspections to assess the condition of residential properties.
Provide expert advice on maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with property managers to develop and implement effective maintenance plans.
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing survey findings, recommendations, and cost estimates.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns regarding property condition and maintenance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field is highly desired
Proven experience as a Building Surveyor with a focus on residential properties.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and relevant legislation.
Exposure to Major works processes
Previous experience in property management is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
RICS or CIOB accreditation is a plus.
