Credit Control - Team Lead

Credit Control Team Lead, Full-Time, Permanent, Edinburgh, £40,000 Per Annum

My client is a leading national property consultancy looking for a Senior Credit Controller to lead their growing team in central Edinburgh.

Main duties of the role include:

  • Ensuring the collection of outstanding monies through managing the Credit Control team and chasing bad debt directly.

  • Providing solid recommendations for the collection of outstanding monies in a timely manner

  • Report any tenant disputes and/or complaints to the surveyor and client accountant responsible

  • Agreeing all escalation steps to recover debts responsible prior to initiating action required

  • Attending all meetings with clients to progress payment to agreed timescales.

  • Managing all reporting required by the client on Bad Debt.

  • Managing the Credit Control team to set objectives and complete appraisals.

  • Supporting team and mentoring team where required.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Experience of leading and managing a team

  • High service delivery skills.

  • Client facing.

  • Impeccable skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • Excellent communication skills
