Client-Side Construction Project Manager

Cobalt have the pleasure of exclusively working with a leading, private real estate investment firm based in London. With an extensive and expanding portfolio of assets across the UK, worth over £500million, this firm specialises in the investment, acquisition, redevelopment and delivery of a range of asset classes including commercial and serviced office for the benefit of their investors.

This close-knit development team has expanded organically since their inception and due to an increased workload and new commercial acquisitions, our client has asked us to source a talented Project Manager with experience in commercial assets and CAT B fit out.

The Role

The successful applicant will need to be a quick thinker and able to hit the ground running. They will be responsible for managing projects at various stages from design, through procurement, tender, construction and handover; working closely with the design team, asset management team, external stakeholders and be responsible for contractor management and ensuring project delivery to time, quality and cost across the portfolio.

Our client requires someone with proven experience in commercial and office sectors and solid understanding of building regulations and various delivery methods (JCT, Design & Build, Construction Management) in a similar role either within a development business or consultancy. Projects range from 40,000 to 120,000 sqft and are valued up to £30million. This is a client-side role in a close-knit team and my client requires an adaptable and collaborative work style as well as a drive to career progression.

Remuneration:

£60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus (20%) DOE

Requirements:

·Experience working for a Consultancy or Developer

·Detailed knowledge of various forms of UK building contracts

·Proven experience delivering commercial projects with an exceptional track record in CAT A & B office fit out

·Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
