My client, a Lancashire based NHS Trust is looking for an Estates Officer to join them on an initial 6-month basis paying £170-205 LTD day rate (inside ir35, via umbrella company).
You will be required to.
To ensure all engineering maintenance including contract work is carried out to ensure high performance and compliance with recommended standard and legislation.
Responsible for applying general and specialised engineering knowledge to solve engineering problems.
Successfully manage and supervise planned and responsive maintenance works, to plan and manage programmes of delegated planned and regular maintenance works through technical specialist support to the Estates function.
Ensure contracting companies and staff to adhere to Trusts working rules, specifications, schedules, and H&S to ensure safe processes/systems of work.
You will need to be;
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent within a relevant Building Services or Engineering Professional Body.
Experienced in delivering mechanical and electrical day to day maintenance within Acute Hospital environment.
Experienced in overseeing and supporting teams of multi-skilled engineers.
