Cobalt have been instructed on a Facilities Manager position to work alongside a multi-disciplinary company known for their residential and commercial management/asset management across the UK.
This position has become live due to growth in the Facilities Management team with this well established brand winning more and more tenders based on their current management style.
In this fully autonomous position where you will manage a mix of Industrial, Retail, and multi-tenanted office space in the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands area, you will coordinate your own diary to ensure that you are delivering exceptional service to the tenant and client through providing the best total facilities management service.
Key responsibilities will include:
Being a direct line report for both hard and soft services e.g. cleaning, reception, m&e staff etc
Ensuring the portfolio meets legislative, regulatory and environmental standards
Procurement and contract management as well as contract negotiation
Building H&S Systems and compliance including method statements, risk assessments, permits to work
Management of fitout/refurbishment projects
Tenant liaison and weekly meetings
Requirements for the role:
Experience managing a mixed portfolio of retail, multi-tenanted offices, Industrial etc
Full process of drafting a service charge budget to completion
Experience in procurement and tendering hard and soft FM contracts
Be IOSH OR NEBOSH accredited
