Facilities Manager

Cobalt Recruitment, in partnership with one of London's leading landlords, seeks an innovative and determined individual to join their team as a Shopping Centre Operations Manager.

This role has emerged due to their ongoing success within the property sector, focusing on managing an iconic retail park in Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Setting, managing, and reconciling the service charge budget alongside the Senior Property Manager.

  • Overseeing building maintenance, ensuring all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complaint works are up to date.

  • Ensuring all contracted works are completed in accordance with company regulations and compliant with current health and safety legislation.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication at all times.

  • Supervising both the hard and soft aspects of the shopping centre and ensuring all contract work is carried out promptly and cost-effectively.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Shopping Centre Management or a retail background, a comprehensive understanding of health and safety legislation, and preferably possess IOSH/NEBOSH and IWFM qualifications. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication are vital for success in this role.
