Facilities Manager (Nights)

Cobalt is looking for a proven Estate Manager to take ownership of a large-scale, vibrant estate of commercial, retail, and logistical space. Small businesses are the lifeblood of this well known development, which runs 24/7, and thus the requirement is for you to be on-site overnight exclusively, managing the technical hard services management, whilst bringing together a large number of stakeholders including the freeholder, occupiers, and service providers - making this a role for a hands on FM, with quality people management skills.

Your employer is a well regarded Real Estate business that has been challenging the status-quo of UK Property Management in recent years, acting as an industry-disrupter and growing significantly as a result. A stable, multi-national business, our client will be looking for an individual who can make this role their own, whilst offering the support and platform for progression that you can expect from working for an award-winning giant of the property world.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the total FM provision across the development overnight, acting as the key operational decision maker on site and acting with autonomy;

  • Leading the on-site team across hard and soft service staff, including in-house employees and outsourced suppliers;

  • Conducting regular site walkthroughs, and building lasting working relationships with retail occupiers;

  • Ensuring full H&S compliance throughout the development, acting as the main point of contact for external bodies;

  • Assisting with the setting and management of the service charge budget for the estate;

  • Ensuring the effective maintenance of the development, including planned and reactive maintenance for building fabric, and plant.

Our client is looking for a down-to-earth FM with a professional manner, who relishes a hands-on role with autonomy and the responsibility for running a lively site. You will support your H&S knowledge with either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, whilst having an IWFM membership/qualification would be seen in a positive light.

You will be happy with a role that is exclusively working over-night.

Equally important to your hard-services experience (within a total FM environment) will be your ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, and leading on-site teams, in order to foster a positive culture throughout the development.

If you are interested please apply online today. Please note, interviews may commence before the closing date for this advert.
