Finance Manager

Finance Manager, £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum, Nottingham

My client is a leading asset management business looking for a Finance Manager to lead their growing finance team in Nottingham.

Core responsibilities

• Manage client accounting records such as client statements and reviewing balance sheets

• Responsible for all aspects of property accounting, including rent collection service charge accounts and collection, and VAT for property business

• Timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and monthly rent demands

• All aspects of service charges

• Developing budget with finance director and asset manager

• Issuing budgets and service charge demands

• Checking service charge orders

• Accurate accounting for service charge costs

• Preparation of quarterly service charge accounts and re-budgeting as required

• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review

Personal specification

• Previous experience in a Senior Accountant role within a real estate background

• Solid knowledge/experience of client reporting

• Experience of dealing with property management systems

• Impeccable interpersonal/communication skills
