Our client, a highly regarded property developer and investor, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their West London based team. The successful candidate will be taking over a crucial role and serving as a bridge between property management and finance, primarily focusing on financial aspects related to company-owned and leased properties.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing quarterly Key Performance Indicators dashboards.

• Preparing management accounts for companies and the group on a quarterly basis

• Crafting annual budgets based on data provided by property managers and other stakeholders

• Analysing variances against budgeted figures.

• Coordinating year-end activities and liaising with external auditors

• Preparing annual statutory accounts for the corporate group under UK GAAP

• Reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing inter-company loans, handling accruals and prepayments, and calculating depreciation

• Developing Excel-based tax packs for external tax accountants

• Filing Annual Tax returns

• Overseeing the treasury function, including deposit placement

• Ensuring sufficient funds in bank accounts to meet loan obligations

• Managing monthly payroll

• Handling annual rent deferrals and updating gross rent projections quarterly

• Providing Budget Holders and Managers with timely and reliable information

• Monitoring general ledger transactions and guiding staff on proper accounting treatment

• Preparing tax compliance information and collaborating with tax advisors

• Manage a team of qualified/ part qualified accountants

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

• Strong experience in Real Estate accounting ideally from an accountancy practice

• Extensive hands-on experience in statutory accounting, consolidation and management information reporting is essential

• Ability and interest to work in close-knit and dynamic team
