Cobalt we are delighted to be working with a commercial Property Consultancy firm based in Bristol. This position has come about due to company growth. They are looking to hire an individual to work closely with the managing director. The ideal candidate is someone who has a background in Client Accounting within a commercial property environment which is a must.

Core responsibilities

• Manage client accounting records such as client statements and reviewing balance sheets

• Responsible for all aspects of property accounting, including rent collection service charge accounts and collection, and VAT for property business

• Timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and monthly rent demands

• All aspects of service charges

• Developing budget with finance director and asset manager

• Issuing budgets and service charge demands

• Checking service charge orders

• Accurate accounting for service charge costs

• Preparation of quarterly service charge accounts and re-budgeting as required

• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review
