Financial Accountant

Cobalt are working with a prestigious Real Estate Family Office who are looking for a Financial Accountant. This is a new opportunity, working within a small team with a wide and commercial remit.

This established business has a portfolio of nearly £1.8Bn split across a diverse portfolio of commercial and high end residential assets in London

As well as the core duties the company culture promotes giving individuals opportunity for growth and a chance to take on greater responsibilities within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quarterly management accounts, annual financial statements and financial analysis for the portfolio.

• Working under UK GAAP and IFRS and managing the SPV structure.

• Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliations

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including investment managers, property managers, tax advisors, group finance and auditors

• Responding to queries and requests including disseminating regular investor reporting.

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA qualified

• Previous experience within Real Estate is essential

• Strong Excel skills

• Knowledge of a SPVs is advantageous

• Ability to build working relationships with team members and external parties
