Fund Accountant - Alternative Investments

Cobalt is thrilled to partner with a prestigious Pan-European Asset Management firm, distinguished for its expertise in Alternative Investments. They are seeking a Fund Accountant to join their infrastructure team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with an incredible portfolio and gain exposure in the alternative market.

Responsibilities include (But not limited to):

• Handle fund accounting for infrastructure AIFs and oversee external service providers for fund and SPV accounting.

• Reconcile and verify SPV accounting records.

• Perform and review NAV calculations, and issue NAV releases to service providers.

• Monitor closing deadlines to ensure timely year-end and quarter-end processes.

• Serve as the main contact for accountants, asset and portfolio managers, and central administrators on accounting matters.

• Manage the migration of fund accounting data from external service providers into the in-house accounting tool, Yardi.

Requirements:

• Experience working within fund accounting in the Luxembourg alternative investment market. Preferably in Infrastructure.

• A strong understanding of Lux GAAP and IFRS.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA would be an advantage.

• Experience with SAP and Yardi would be an advantage.

• Fluent in English, and German would be a plus.

• Good communication skills and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment.
