Fund Accountant

Cobalt are currently working with a real estate private equity manager who are looking for a French/German speaking accountant to join their finance and operations team.

This boutique real estate investor focuses on logistical and industrial real estate across Europe. This role will be a very varied role working on commercial finance and fund accounting workstreams.

Responsibilities will include:

• Investor relations with limited partners on accounting and capital drawdowns

• Overseeing timely, accurate management accounts for SPVs and fund consolidation in local GAAP and US GAAP reporting

• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, income statements and cashflow statements accordingly for SPVs.

• Managing the business cashflow and optimising working capital requirements for each SPV.

• Liaising with and preparing tax reporting (VAT, corporate) and liaising with tax consultants to structure vehicles and implement guidance.

• Managing budgets and forecasting

• Implementing, reviewing and improving financial processes and systems

• Paying bills and organising accounts payables and receivables

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• ACA or ACCA Qualification

• Native German or French speaker (preferred)

• Microsoft office skills (Excel AND PowerPoint)

• Real estate background preferred

• Relevant experience within private equity preferred

• Hard-working with an ability to work in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment
