Fund Accounting Manager

London, Hybrid

£70,000-75,000 plus bonus

You will be joining a global leading investment management firm with multi-billion dollars in AUM. The Fund Accounting Manager will sit within the Real Estate and Infrastructure team, and be responsible for the oversight of the third-party administrators, to ensure the operational management of the allocated fund portfolio, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including the Investment team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Verify and validate the NAV and unit pricing of a Real Assets Fund conducted by the third parties. Oversee annual income distributions and ensure timely completion of all reporting within SLA-defined timeframes.

  • Monitor regulatory, tax, and investor reporting deadlines, including producing year-end accounts and investor reports on a quarterly basis

  • Collaborate with investment teams to support real estate and infrastructure asset acquisitions, including liaising with fund administrators and depositaries, establishing SPVs, and facilitating funding for acquisitions

  • Lead oversight and coordination of the fund administration parties in various offshore locations, including chairing service review meetings, tracking risk events, managing issue resolutions, conducting annual due diligence visits, and coordinating related due diligence documents

  • Managing and developing more junior team members

Minimum requirements:

  • Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

  • Prior hands-on experience working with real estate/ infrastructure/ dept funds gained from another Investment firm/ Fund Administration/ Accounting practice or Audit is required

  • Good knowledge of IFRS

  • Experience managing and developing team members

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
