Cobalt are working with a boutique Private Equity Real Estate investor, currently seeking a Fund Controller/ Fund Accountant to join the already existing market leading team. Tasked with championing new investments across Europe, this role will work closely with the Analysts internally as well as key external stakeholders.

Not only will you be responsible for the financial review, but you will also get involved in investor relations, work with a range of third parties and contribute to the development of systems.

Further duties include:

  • Working closely with service providers to deliver quarterly reports in an efficient manner

  • Producing consolidated investor reports on a quarterly basis

  • Review of statutory accounts for various group entities

  • Being one of the main points of contact during the audit process, pushing for delivery of audited financial statements within the desired time frame

  • Interaction with the Fund's investors, auditors, tax agents, legal advisors and property managers

  • Work closely with the Head of Finance to design and develop both internal and external management reports to better inform the business

  • Implement more effective systems for management reporting

  • Designing and implementing internal system controls to provide quality assurance over financial data

Experience required:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent

  • Experience working within real estate, private equity or investment management, including preparation of statutory accounts

  • Yardi experience is advantageous

  • Experience in delivering financial systems developments and upgrades including

  • Willingness to travel - this is an exciting opportunity to explore various office locations across Europe
