General Manager

Cobalt is seeking a General Manager on behalf of one of the leading names in the property industry. You will be managing an iconic commercial office building in London which stands at circa 450,000 sq. ft.

This role presents you with the opportunity to further progress in your career, including having direct line management of 3 key on-site personnel.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Setting, managing, and reconciling service charge budgets, whilst tracking expenditure;

• Conducting regular inspections of the site to ensure it is free of any defects and instructing repairs where necessary;

• Providing a top-tier total FM service for tenants, developing lasting professional relationships with your occupiers;

• Working with the internal events team to ensure the creation of a vibrant atmosphere within the building;

• Promoting sustainability wherever possible.

• Managing contractors for both soft and hard services, helping to foster a one-team culture throughout the development;

Our client is seeking an individual with a track record in the management of trophy commercial assets. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is essential for this role, whilst a tangible track record in promoting ESG throughout your building(s) is highly desirable too.
