Head of Engineering- 73712

Cobalt have been instructed on a Head of Engineering position for a UK based property investment company where you will work closely with the Head of Facilities Management to provide a strategic approach to the engineering function across the the company estate.

You will manage and further develop the technical services and engineering function by formulating the maintenance strategy, evaluating the performance of the supply chain, as well as working with the PM team to prepare the overall PPM and budget across the portfolio.

This is an opportunity to work with a prestigious well-known client-side company who are growing their facilities management/property management team at a rapid rate due to growth.

Key responsibilities;

• Hit the ground running reviewing the maintenance arrangements and create new policy and procedures for cost-efficient technical services delivery.

• Develop procedures in relation to engineering and building management standards including escalation, root cause analysis and rectification.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to specified requirements and to budget.

• Plan, organise and execute project works utilising Prince 2 or similar frameworks.

Requirements for the role;

• Proven experience in management of major M&E project contracts to ensure delivery to quality cost and time.

• In-depth understand and working knowledge of CFM 2015 and implementation of key roles within this framework.

• Be able to demonstrate evidence of managing a similar engineering function in previous roles.

• Solid reporting skills are essential to produce reports on a monthly basis relating to project deliverables.
