We are currently working with the Loan Asset Management arm of a market leading Commercial Real Estate services and investment firm. The team is working across Primary Servicing, Loan Recoveries and Loan Advisory and they are currently looking to make an experienced hire to head up the Loan Advisory part of the business. The Loan Advisory team focuses on buy and sell side portfolio advisory for performing and non-performing loan transactions, CMBS and NPL special servicing and workout along with loan valuation and underwriting. This individual will come onboard and take responsibility for management of the team and expanding the Loan Advisory practice going forward.
Main duties:
Manage the Loan Advisory team.
Take a lead role in business development and in expanding the loan advisory practice by origination of mandates from Real Estate lenders across the UK and mainland Europe.
Take a lead on loan advisory mandate of existing client mandates.
Resolve CMBS and other securitised products including non-performing commercial real estate assets.
Take a lead on loan sale transactions and developing the loan sale business further in various geographies.
Requirements:
Solid experience in the UK & European real estate finance sector.
Excellent connectivity with the UK and European lenders.
Experience of executing real estate debt transactions within the UK & Europe for a broad range of transactions.
Experience of CMBS and NPL's is advantageous.
Extensive credit/financial analysis, loan servicing/work-out experience.
Debt due diligence and transaction management expertise.
Experience of structuring and negotiation of debt transaction terms.
