People Advisor/HR Advisor - Interim

Hertfordshire

£14 to 17.50 per hour (Band 4/5 depending on experience)

Cobalt PS Recruitment has an exciting new role based in the Hertfordshire area - an NHS Trust has an excellent opportunity for a People Advisor to join the service.

The ideal candidate will have strong HR advisor experience with knowledge to support the People team and provide advice and support to staff and managers at all levels, in application of Trust policies and procedures.

Desirable for candidates to have previous NHS experience but this is not essential.

Main Duties:

• To provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on a wide range of employment issues, including managing attendance, performance, conduct, complaints of unfair treatment, and grievances.

• To manage a caseload of employee relations cases, liaising directly with staff and managers to bring cases to a timely and appropriate conclusion.

• To advise and support managers in effective recruitment and retention initiatives, ensuring it is timely and that fair and equitable recruitment and selection procedures are followed in accordance with Trust policies and relevant employment legislation

• To work with the People Manager to interpret workforce information and performance indicators.
