Industrial Asset Manager
Based Yorkshire
Up to £35,000 plus car allowance and benefits.
My client is a leading property investor and developer, who own over £250m of investment assets across Northern England. The investment team are seeking an Industrial Asset Manager, who will be responsible for assisting with the strategic asset management of the portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategic Asset Management to include; lettings, lease re-gears, rent reviews, refurbishment projects, investment sales and acquisitions
Management of the external Property Managers including income collection, insurance, service charge budgeting etc
Management of void and void costs by way of rates mitigation, pro-active leasing and lease management
Assist with the investment acquisitions, investment appraisals and general due diligence
Assist with the development of new warehouse schemes, plus project management of the build
Assist with the organisation and development of external marketing and promotional events/functions to increase team visibility and brand awareness on a national scale.
Candidates must be able to able to demonstrate a proven track record of working in an industrial real estate environment and its envisaged that you will have gained this experience within either private practice or client-side investment/ development. You will have a solid understanding and working knowledge of the legal framework for commercial property, along with a thorough understanding of Commercial Agency.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will possess the ability to create effective working relationships whilst managing a diverse workload without supervision. Applicants will have recently achieved RICS Chartered Status or will be well advanced to achieving that goal through their APC.
