Our client is a very highly regarded infrastructure investment fund with a strong focus on emerging markets. Having developed an excellent Investment Team along with strong financial backing, they have built a multibillion portfolio of assets across all infrastructure asset classes including power, energy and many others.
As the fund continues to regularly invest and deploy capital, there is a need to hire an Associate level infrastructure M&A advisory or investment professional to support the origination and execution of investments. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to build an impressive deal sheet with long term career potential in the fund.
The Associate will;
Support senior members of the Investment Team to originate and execute investments in emerging markets.
Conduct market research, analysis and regularly interact with advisers and wider network to generate investment opportunities and strategies.
Play a key role on the execution of deals including taking full responsibility for building financial models and analysis.
Lead due diligence for investments as well as coordinate and oversee external advisers.
Create presentations and memos for Investment Committee.
Conduct portfolio analysis and monitoring as well as writing reports for senior management.
Interested candidates must;
Be currently sitting at an Associate or similar level within the M&A team of a highly regarded bank, advisory firm or investment fund.
Have an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure market with proven deal experience.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience in the emerging markets.
Possess a very strong and all round technical skill set with the ability to build financial models and conduct due diligence.
Hold a finance, business, mathematics or related degree from a highly regarded university.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Be highly motivated to join an emerging markets focused infrastructure fund.
