Our client is a multibillion dollar infrastructure private equity fund. With unlimited capital and a strong investment team, the fund has built an impressive portfolio of assets across the entire infrastructure space with a key focus on Europe and North America. The group have developed a strong team environment with excellent internal growth opportunities for all members of the business.
As the business continues to regularly invest and grow, there is a need to add a Junior Associate to the Investment Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior top-tier investment banking professional to join a high performing team where you will have the chance to regularly invest, build an impressive deal sheet and have the chance for career growth in the team.
The Associate will;
Support senior members of the team on all stages of the transactions life cycle from origination to execution as well as portfolio management.
Conduct market research and interact with banks, funds and industry professionals to generate investment opportunities.
Take responsibility for building financial models from scratch and conducting valuations.
Be hands on with the due diligence processes as well as coordinating and overseeing third party advisory groups.
Develop Investment Committee presentations and memos.
Support the senior management with portfolio management responsibilities including working with investee companies with developing strategies and operations.
Interested candidates must;
Be currently sitting in the M&A Team of a bulge bracket investment bank with a focus on either infrastructure, industrial or TMT market.
Demonstrate strong deal experience with a track record of having worked on closed transactions.
Possess an excellent skill set with the ability to build financial models from scratch.
Hold a business, finance, engineering or related degree from a highly regarded university.
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of management.
Fluency in a second language is advantageous.
