Interior Designer/Technician - London Property Company
A family-owned private property company based in South West London is seeking an Interior Designer to take responsibility of the design stages of their portfolio.
As a business they invest, develop and regenerate in property and have a strong focus on the commercial real estate market. Their property portfolio spreads across Central London and is valued at £600 million and consists of commercial office, retail and hotel assets.
They focus on long-term hold and seek to recycle over their development and lettings cycles within a fast-paced environment. They are offering a fantastic position within their team where you will gain great value add experience to develop your career.
The successful applicant will need to be a quick thinker and able to hit the ground running. They will be responsible for managing projects from RIBA stage 1 through to construction, reviewing design team submissions, detailed design, and be the key driver to standardising internal design and costing across the portfolio, including commercial FF&E. They will support the project and development teams by managing the process throughout inception, feasibility, pre-construction, tender, procurement, and construction delivery.
Our client requires someone with proven experience in commercial and office sectors and ideally flexible office products. They will need a solid understanding of building regulations in a similar role either within a development business or practice. This is a client-side role in a close-knit team and my client requires an adaptable and collaborative work style as well as a drive to career progression.
Remuneration:
£45,000-£55,000 + Bonus

Requirements:
Experience working for an Architectural Practice or Developer
Detailed knowledge of various forms of UK building contracts and proven experience delivering CAT-B fit out
Proven experience of producing and reviewing high quality and technically proficient architectural drawings
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
