Investment Analyst - Hotels

A leading international firm are seeking an Investment Analyst/Senior Analyst to be part of their Pan-European hotels team in their London office. The successful candidate will join an entrepreneurial team, and will focus on analysis to appraise investments on behalf of market-leading clients across Europe.

Main skills and responsibilities include:

• Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis of new investments.

• Preparing complex valuations models and business cases

• Assisting team in underwriting of hotel sell-side and buy-side mandates across Europe

• Performing comprehensive and in-depth real estate and market analysis

• Due diligence collection and review

• Sense testing other financial models

• Identify opportunities to create added value for clients in relation to structures/approaches

• Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials

• Analysis of how property can add value to a business

Requirements include:

• Brokerage/Investment bank/Asset Management/Private Equity experience.

• Ideally, experience with Discounted Cash Flow valuation (DCF) methodology

• Experience of Europe/World desirable

• French or other language desirable

• Strong interest in the Hotel Real Estate industry, with general knowledge about key players and recent transactions in the European market.

• Professional qualification (CFA a plus)
