Cobalt are working with one of private equities biggest names, currently seeking an Investment/ Fund Accountant to join their team to assist with on going project implementation and improvement across the wider business.
Being a key point of contact to various business functions, the successful individual will collaborate closely with asset management and investment management teams reporting on all accounting duties, as well as consolidating key business information.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Take care of day to day accounting for the property companies and holding companies including: bank reconciliations, invoice review, monthly accruals, depreciation, etc.
Take care of all supporting schedules: loan and interest calculations, depreciation etc.
Assist in preparation of periodic VAT returns.
Ensure accurate recording of all local, IFRS and Group GAAP adjustments.
Respect periodic closing process time lines and assist with consolidations and sub-consolidations.
Prepare Luxembourg GAAP stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.
Provide inter company reconciliations and regular inter company settlements where applicable. Contribute to the (interim) audit process, ensuring completion on a timely basis.
Accounting Ensure accuracy of all property manager bookings including reconciliation of rental income to rent rolls, review of all service charge costs and income and accurate allocation of non-recoverable property costs.
Cash management, property management, asset management & acquisitions/ sales support and stakeholder management
Experience required:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) or studying towards these exams
Experience working within real estate/ private equity or investment management
Working knowledge of LUX GAAP and IFRS
Ability to work closely with other business units including property individuals and asset managers
Strong excel skills
