Cobalt are working with a leading Property Management business based in the heart of London and due to consistent growth after the last 12 months are looking to hire a Junior Credit Controller to join their successful and established team.

Role responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Rent & Service charge collection

• Collection of outstanding sums due from tenants

• Strict review of arrears, work with the Senior Credit Controller & Surveyors to enforce any litigation action required

• Strict monitoring of all tenant payment plans to ensure tenants are committing to any payment plan they may be part of

• Ensure that Team process & controls are strictly followed and full compliance

• Build strong tenant relationships, resolve tenant queries promptly and accurately record all correspondence

• Liaising with Property Managers and Client Accountants as appropriate

• Supporting aged debt and collection reports, using the system and excel as required

Personal specification:

• Must be able to deliver work to a high standard; be flexible, organised & able to work to tight deadlines to meet strict team KPI's & quarter-end deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills & an ability to tailor their approach to deal appropriately with all levels

• The role requires an assertive, enthusiastic & self-confident person

• Strong customer awareness and the ability to resolve tenant queries

• Competency across MS Office and Property Management systems or equivalent

• Excellent communication, in person, on the phone and in email
