About the role

They are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for career development within the consultancy. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining valuable experience in quantity surveying methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior quantity surveyors in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender documents

  • Support in the evaluation of contractor bids and proposals

  • Assist in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts

  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Learn and utilise industry-standard software for quantity surveying tasks

  • Conduct site visits and assist in the measurement and verification of quantities

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (or currently pursuing)

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with quantity surveying software is advantageous
