Our client is a UK focused real estate investor and operator with a Build to Rent portfolio in excess of 2,100 homes of which c.350 are fully operational and the balance are under construction. The portfolio has a gross development value in excess of £500m. The company is headquartered in London. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an individual to take the role of Loan Manager.
Loan management, including compliance, reporting, cashflow forecasting. We currently have 4 loans totalling in excess of £200m.
Loan hedging strategy and execution.
Loan origination and negotiation.
Equity structuring and management including financial reporting, cashflows forecasting.
Managing supplier payments.
Internal financial services e.g. managing external accountants for VAT and statutory reporting, payroll, pensions and payments.
Extensive loan management experience from either a bank, loan servicer or real estate investment or development platform.
Experience with institutional equity partners.
Experience across both residential development and investment finance.
Experience of structuring and negotiation of transaction terms.
Excellent financial analytical skills.
Strong modelling capability in Excel.
Able to lead the completion of any financing including legal documentation.
