Manager - Real Estate Asset Manager (MRICS)

The firm are looking for an individual with expert property knowledge which is likely to have been developed through an MRICS qualification. You'll be responsible for working with the borrower and getting to grips with all of the construction/development tasks that they're involved with.

Required Qualities:

• Experience of residential or commercial property development and/or construction and/or property finance
• MRICS or other relevant qualification
• Team player able to work in a dynamic environment within a small group of Asset Managers
• Commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent and organised, able to work on own initiative
• Flexible approach to working to meet the needs of a service-driven, growing business
• Pro-active and assertive personality

Key Responsibilities:

• To operate collaboratively in a small, focused asset management team
• Assess and provide written reports on new lending opportunities by meeting customers, visiting the property and reviewing the professional advice and technical documents
• Manage a portfolio of development loans secured on commercial and residential property including, identifying and solving problems, interfacing with external advisers and the internal Origination Team and reporting to the Head of Asset Management
