We are working with our client to further strengthen their seven-strong Reading planning team with the addition of a Planner. Our client has been recognised as one of the `Best Places to work in property` by Property Week magazine and you will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest and highest-profile projects across the Thames Valley.

Your workload will be broad and varied and involve shaping and assessing the case for development projects.

The ideal Planner will have experience in and be responsible for the following:

• Preparing planning applications and appeals

• Site appraisals, planning strategies and development plan representations

• Provide advice and guidance on planning and land use to a variety of clients including leading retailers, developers and investment institutions as well as local planning authorities

Qualifications:

• At least a 2:1 or equivalent at first degree

• Master's degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects

• Achieved or currently working towards chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
