A superb opportunity has arisen on the West coast of Ireland with our client based in Galway. The consultancy has a superb reputation across the sector for delivering schemes within the infrastructure, renewable energy and telecommunications sectors.

The last few months have proven challenging for everyone, but positively our client's workload has continued to grow due to their success within their areas of expertise and they require an experienced Planner or Senior Planner to join and help tackle the growing workload. With a presence both in the UK and Ireland the consultancy has a superb array of clients and requires an individual capable of managing challenging large scale renewable energy applications, in particular.

The role will include:

• Project management of multi-disciplinary teams
• The opportunity to lead on planning applications and have significant input into EIA's
• Working collaboratively with clients and other consultants on major projects that can include sites up to 630 acres
• Analysing policy and advising clients throughout the planning process

The ideal Planner / Senior Planner will have either demonstrable experience of renewable energy projects either within Ireland or the UK or, alternatively, have gained experience already within the Irish planning system. Joining a small team in Galway means you will need to be an excellent communicator who can work well within a team, but also independently, as well as engaging regularly with clients throughout the process. You shall also hold chartered RTPI or IPI membership as well excellent IT skills.
