If you want the challenge of leading on planning matters for one of the North West's leading house builders, then this is the opportunity for you!

The Planning Manager will be an integral member of the growing team and be responsible for managing numerous sites through the planning process. Typically, the house builder has a focus on the North West and your projects shall vary in scope and complexity as they deliver a mixture of high-end and affordable homes across the region.

Primarily, you will support the team Land Buyer and Development Manager on a day-to-day basis ensuring applications are progressing smoothly and support the assessment of future sites for purchase. The business has continued to acquire land across the region over the last few months and is well placed to deliver hundreds of units across 2020 and beyond. Plenty of support from the existing team is on offer as well as the use of external consultants when necessary.

The ideal Planning Manager will have a demonstrable background in either a planning consultancy or a house builder environment and be able to show a track record of success in achieving planning success for housing within the North West. Chartered RTPI membership is preferable as you will be joining a small team and shall be required to work independently at times and ensure the smooth progress of planning applications. You will need to be a confident communicator as you shall be engaging regularly with colleagues, Planning Officers and Planning Consultants.
