Cobalt are delighted to partner exclusively with an impressive commercial property developer and asset manager.
Our client is looking for a suitable senior-level Project Manager to join a small team responsible for the asset management of a substantial commercial portfolio of office and retail assets; this role will be focused on UK real estate assets. The role will be to project manage the company's major capital renovation and redevelopment projects and support a team of asset managers.
Ideally looking for a candidate with strong background in offices, especially experienced in the management of project teams and external project/development managers. The ideal candidate will already have a network of contacts in the office sector, be numerate and able to report in a timely and concise manner.
Experience in overseeing a project or multiple projects, involving major works in excess of £40m; with a sound knowledge in construction management, contract administration and managing project teams. Being able to demonstrate projects delivery on time and to budget.
The role encompasses:
Responsibility for major renovation projects in central London.
Overseeing capital expenditure projects, working with an external project manager and design team.
Reporting and presenting at monthly Management meetings.
Providing project procurement advice to the Management Board.
Developing and growing strategies to preserve and enhance asset values through targeted improvement and regeneration of the portfolio.
Monitoring contract compliance and performance of external project teams and contractors.
Remuneration;
£75,000 - £85,000 dependant on experience
