Property Accountant, rolling contract
Up to £42k

My client are a prestigious landlord and a FTSE 100 company with an extensive portfolio of properties spanning across London. Their reputation in the world of property has been well earned due to their service to their clients and they are looking for a new team member to join their established team in London.
Undergoing multiple schedules and service charge year ends, ensuring all demands across rent and service charges are completed in a timely manner and correctly apportioned
Ensuring tenant queries are answered and the general ledger is balances across all accounts
Undergoing reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as reporting up to trial balance and extended trial balance
Ensuring the reconciliation of accounts is accurately completely
Undergoing the full service charge process, from loading the budgets to undergoing the year-end accounting including prepayments and accruals
Ensuring all reconciliations are adjusted correctly
Ensuring strong rapport is established internally and externally, across property managers, surveyors and departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the Cashiering team
A working understanding of property management accounting across rent and service charges
Experience using a property management system such as Qube, Horizon, MRI, Yardi, Voyager or Tramps advantageous
The ability to prioritise workloads appropriately, with excellent time management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
