Rating Surveyor (Scotland)

Cobalt are delighted to be working with an independent market leading property consultancy with offices in London, Scotland and the regions. They specialise in planning and development, commercial valuation and transactions across the UK with a flexible and collaborative approach. Their specialist Rating team sits within the wider Advisory team, including Development and Valuation Consultancy and offers expert rating consultancy and appeal advice to a wide range of occupiers and property owners in both the private and public sectors.

There is now a fantastic opportunity for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join the Scottish team. Day to day the role will involve progressing tenant and owner/occupier appeal and consultancy cases with direct responsibility for blue chip clients as well as working alongside a partner and other senior members of the team.

Applicants must be MRICS and have a full driving licence with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Core IT skills are also essential and ideally candidates will have previous experience managing Billing Authorities and Scottish Assessors/VOA.
