The Role

Cobalt is seeking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to our Real Estate Business Systems desk.

The Real Estate Business Systems desk focuses on placing individuals that specialise in Property and Asset Management, Finance and Valuation Systems. These individuals carry out implementations and upgrades on the systems, and train and support the client on these systems.

The Real Estate Business Systems desk sits within the wider Finance team and benefits from the relationships already established within the Finance and Accounting space. This desk has the most crossover of clients throughout the business as all clients and candidates use Asset Management/ Property Management systems. These systems are in place to act as the link for the business between the landlords and managing agents. The desk is structured into two sectors, permanent and interim. The interim candidates work on a project basis, usually for upgrades and implementations of a new system.

The permanent candidates are placed for longer-term support or management of the systems. The types of companies supported are Property Consultancies, Large Landlords, Asset Managers, various Investment Managers/Funds and Real Estate Software Providers. Joining Cobalt on this desk will require reconnecting with a number of contacts and establishing new relationships.

A true Consultant is one who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities:

Business Development, NFI & Business Plan Ownership

Understand a specialist market thoroughly and generate personal NFI from candidate and client management in a 360-degree role. Have a full understanding of the scope and range of services offered by the broader team and business and be able to cross-sell effectively. Understand and contribute to the team's business plan. Be aware of the full competitor, client and candidate landscape.

Account Management

Act as account manager for clients, ensuring that all Cobalt locations, teams and disciplines are involved in order to maximise revenue whilst providing a first-class service.

Terms of Business

Agree and establish commercially viable terms of business with new clients.
