Regional Facilities Manager

Cobalt is working with an independently owned property group that following a promotion is seeking a Facilities Manager for a commercial portfolio in Central London. This home-based role will see you taking charge of the management of a range of multi-tenanted office developments, providing a first-class FM service within them. Our client is looking for someone proactive, with the ambition to grow their career further within an award-winning FM function and is offering a role with independence but also support - including through further qualifications and accreditation's.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular site visits and inspections, around your diary (except in cases of emergencies)

• Setting and managing service charge budgets;

• Managing planned and reactive maintenance works to building plant and fabric;

• Overseeing plant upgrades and fit-out projects in conjunction with project managers as they arise;

• Ensuring full H&S compliance in line with UK legislation;

• Managing the work of outsourced suppliers including for security, cleaning, and M&E amongst others;

Previous multi-site experience is essential, as is the experience of managing the common areas of buildings (such as plant room and reception areas). An IOSH is essential, as is previously having set a service charge budget.
