This is a fixed term contract position which will be between 12-15 months. The company is a leading property developer based in central London. Due to COVID the role will be home working to start.
The Role:
Prepare various financial accounting and reporting tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare financial statements and reports to accurately reflect the company's financial results and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Assit in the planning, preparation and analysis of management reporting information to support and inform management decisions with regards to financial planning, control and performance management processes.
Exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures, applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve problems of moderate complexity
Mentor and support the graduate accountant to support delivery of day to day activities
Liase with external accounting provider to maintain consistency across retained and outsourced finance processes
Requirements:
Qualified (ACCA or equivalent)
Experience in Finance and Accounting roles.
Experience in management reporting and applicable legislation's.
Sound commercial acumen and understanding of general and transactional accounting, cost accounting and reporting.
Property and infrastructure or investment management industry experience preferred
Must be able to start as soon as possible or on a 2 week notice

Ability to supervise and mentor indirect reports

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make the complex simple in pursuit of clear deliverables.
