The firm are established and a well-known player but are still a relatively new entrant to the market. They're investing out of a newly raised fund, which is totally discretionary capital, and they have a pre-existing investment team who are spotting great deals in the market.
They have a pool of loan AM's currently who are managing borrowers effectively but there is a need to add to their Restructuring division. Due to the risk appetite of the firm they bring loans on to their book where a specialist in the Restructuring space will add huge value in terms of borrower liaison on general management of potential issues.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within an established lender or major bank and will have dealt with distressed corporates/assets in a Real Estate capacity. The individual will be seasoned in that respect and have experience in this market specifically.
