Senior Capital Projects Manager

Our client, a Midlands based NHS Trust, is looking for a Capital Projects Manager to join them on an initial 3 month contract paying up to £32 per hour LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company), with the potential to extend or become a permanent member staff.

You will be required to:

• Manage construction and other related projects, specialising in Building Surveying, design, and project management. To successfully deliver a variety of Capital Projects when requested, within budget, Examine the work of contractors, ensuring that standards of materials and workmanship are satisfactory and that conditions of contract, specifications and drawings are fully always complied with.

• Manage projects on a day-to-day basis, managing team and contractor performance, project delivery, coordination, governance, process and PMO reporting of the project in both new and refurbishment building projects. This includes close liaison with electrical and mechanical engineers within the team to ensure fully coordinated designs in line with the project programme and fully satisfying client requirements. To ensure that all tender documentation is in place and includes all the latest information at the point of release.

• Manage contracting companies and staff to adhere to Trusts working rules, specifications, drawings, schedules, and H&S to ensure safe processes/systems of work.

You will need to be:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Building Services/Construction

• Experienced in delivering complex projects within a healthcare environment
